Ella Harper, who was also known as "The Camel Girl" was a woman born with congenital genu recurvatum, an extremely rare condition that causes the knees to develop backwards.

This caused her to wall on all fours, which gained her the nickname of "Camel Girl".

Harper joined a circus and was given 200 US dollars weekly salary. As of 2022, that is worth 6,800 dollars a week. She then married a school teacher and died at the age of 51.
