Two youth hung upside down, thrashed in Indian village Kaimur, (Hindustan Times) -    Mere suspicion of a petty theft attracted mediaeval punishment for two young men at a village in western Bihar, on Saturday.   The two youths,were tied with ropes ,hung upside down and given a sound thrashing by a group of muscle-wielding men, on a mere suspicion that they had stolen five plastic chairs hired for a wedding ceremony at the village.   The victims, Raj Kumar Bind and Birbal Bind, both in their early 20s, were released hours later and only after their poor families paid Rs 3,000 as compensation to wedding ceremony host Mahangu Bind, for the chairs that had gone missing.   The incident took place at Sonbarsa village under Nuaon police station area of Kaimur district in western Bihar, about 200 km west of state capital, Patna and about 57 km north of the Kaimur district headquarters town of Bhabua.

Man hung upside down, beaten on suspicion of theft in Chhattisgarh The police have arrested four persons in the case and are on the look out for another man. A security guard was hung from a tree upside down and beaten by a group of men on suspicion of attempted theft on Thursday in Sipat town of Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur district, NDTV reported, citing the police. In a video that was shared widely on social media on Friday, the men could be seen thrashing the security guard identified as Mahavir with sticks even as he begged for mercy while hanging from a tree. Four year old boy falls to his death after being left home alone A four-year-old boy who accompanied his mother to work fell to his death from the 35th floor of a condominium in Pandan Perdana, Ampang Jaya on Monday. The child’s mother, a 36-year-old Indonesian who work as a partime maid had earlier taken the biy with her before heading to the Boulevard condominium on Jalan Perdana 3/10 to wash clothes for an employer. Suspected thief tied to pole, flogged and paraded around Bayelsa community (videos) A suspected thief was caught after he allegedly broke into an apartment and stole properties including a standing fan, clothes and shoes in Amassoma, Bayelsa state.  The suspect nabbed in the early hours of Tuesday, December 28 at Okodi street, Adule-ama in Amassoma community. The tragic pair is believed to have been making love in an apartment block in China when the window shattered in the throes of passion.
