In the movie "Scent of a Woman" there is an unforgettable scene: the one in which the protagonist, played by Al Pacino, invites a young woman to dance, to which she responds:
"I can't, because my fiancé will be arriving in a moment."
"In an instant, a life is lived!" he replies, leading her to dance a tango.
This short but memorable scene contains one of the film's most beautiful messages:
Some people live by running after time, but they don't manage to reach it even when they run in a hurry.
Others, look only to the future, forgetting to live in the present moment, the only time that really exists.
Everyone has time equally; no one has more or less than 24 hours a day.
The difference lies in what we each do with this time.
We must know how to take advantage of every moment because, as John Lennon said:
"Life goes on...
while we plan for the future."
Enjoy this wonderful life !
