- Hidden lust
One of the wonders of what the people of Sir told about a Sheikh named "Ahmed bin Maskin", one of the scholars of the third-century Hijri in Basra, said May Allah have mercy on him:
I was tested with poverty in the year two hundred and nineteen, we had nothing, and I was a woman and her child, and we were starved in hunger that alleviates poverty, so I made up my intention to sell the house and change it, I went out to cause it to be sold, and I found Abu Nasr, so I told him my intention to sell it, and he paid two loaves of bread between them Sweets, and he said feed it to your parents;
And I went to my house; when I was on the way, a woman found me with a boy, so she looked at the chips and said: "Sir, this is a hungry orphan child, and he has no patience for hunger, so feed him something that may God have mercy on you, and the child looked at me with a look that I will not forget, and imagine then that Paradise descended to me To the satisfaction she offers herself to whom this child and his mother is full; so I paid what I have to the woman, and said to her: Take and feed your son, and I swear to God what I have is white or yellow, and in my house who needs this food, her eyes cried, and the boy's face shone;
And I walked worried, and sat to a wall thinking about selling the house, and I too; when Abu Nasr passed by, as if he was flying in joy, he said: O Abba Muhammad, what makes you sit here, and in your house of goodness and wealth?! I said: Glory be to Allah, and from where, Abba Nasr?! He said: A man came from Khurasan asking people about your father or one of his family, and carrying loads and loads of good and money, so I said: How is he?!
He said: He is a merchant from Basra, and your father had been depositing money for three-three years, and he became bankrupt and the money was broken, then he left Basra to Khurasan, he succeeded in trading there, and after the ordeal, and accepted wealth, he returned to Basra and wanted to analyze, and surprised you with money and on him What he was winning in three years.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Maskin says: I thanked Allah and thanked Him, and looked for the needy woman and her son, so I satisfied them and rewarded them with livelihood, then I traded in money, and I made his father with favors, craftiness, and charity, which is acceptable to increase and not diminish, as if I liked myself, and I was pleased that I had filled the Register of Mullah By my good deeds, and I hoped that I had been written in the presence of Allah among the righteous, I slept at night; and you saw me on the Day of Resurrection, and the people wave at each other, and you saw people and their bodies expanded, they bear their weights on their backs an embodied creature, so as if the unrighteous on his back a city full of disgrace, Then I laid the scales, and the weight of my deeds came to me, so my evils were made in a palm, and I cast a record of my good deeds in the other, so the record was opened, and the evils were weighed, and then they made them throw good after good, so under every good deed there is a "hidden desire" from the desires of the soul: like hypocrisy ،And the pride, and the love of Muhammad among people, he delivered nothing to me, and I lost my argument, and I heard a voice: Is there nothing left for him?
Fakil: This is what is left, and I am looking to see what is left, so if the two chips you made better on the woman and her son, I am sure that I am doomed, I would have been better by a hundred dinars in one stroke, so it did not make me rich, so I was very disappointed, so the two chips were put in the balance, so if it was enough The good deeds come down a little and some of the good deeds were shaken, then the tears of the poor woman who cried because of the effect of the favor in herself were put, and from the selflessness of her and her son to my family, and if the cuff is shaken, and still shaken until she heard a voice saying: "He survived .. He did survive."
- Abi Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying: Allah said: "I am the richest of partners than partners, and whoever does a deed has a partner with me other than me I forsake him and his partner." (Narrated by a Muslim)
