She was a resident of Hinganghat town in Wardha. She was a college student. On 3rd February 2021, at 7:15 am, she was buont alive in front of her college by Vikesh Nagrale, just because she had rejected his proposal. Locals tried to help her, but by then Ankita's body had no response.

She was rushed to the hospital somehow but on February 10, Ankita took her last breath.

No media covered it because for them the Delhi elections were more important at that time. No politician tweeted about it because over time it doesn't fit into their agenda.

Vikesh Mahashay was already married and had a 6-month-old son, it doesn't matter to anyone.
