Just a couple of days ago, I heard a horrible and very sad story. An Afghan patient came for a medical consultation in my girlfriend’s hospital. His medical file said that he missed a part of his penis — including most of the glans. He needed some sort of reconstructive surgery, because it looked really horrible down there — as if a bomb had exploded in his groins. And in fact, it had. As a young boy of 7 years old, a bomb had fallen on his school while he and his friends were sitting in class. Some of the kids died, and he was severely wounded in the groin. His penis was partially amputated in the accident, and as such the life of a 7-year-old boy was taken hostage by a horrible wound. THE WORST AND HORRIBLE CRUCITIXION ANCIENT METHOD OF EXECUTION.. The Crucifixion was an ancient execution method, in which the criminal's hands and feet were bound or nailed to a wooden, cross-like structure. It wasa capital punishment reserved for slaves, traitors, "heretics", and usually the worst of criminals. It became widespread during the reign of Alexander the Great, but it still remains in occasional use in some countries. There were various methods of performing the crucifixion. Usually, the prisoner had to drag the crossbeam of his cross, weighing around 100 pounds, to the place of execution. On May 1, 1999, an American mountaineer named Conrad Anker noticed a large, flat rock while climbing the northern slopes of Mount Everest.  But when Anker moved closer to get a better look, he realized that the "rock" was actually the exposed back of George Mallory — a British explorer who had famously vanished on the mountain about 75 years earlier and may have been the first to reach its summit. Time had degraded most of Mallory's clothing, but the icy conditions of Everest had preserved much of his body, which helped experts piece together his final moments. Since Mallory had a broken right leg and arm, and an ice axe had been discovered above him, it appeared that he had likely died after he took a bad fall while climbing.  And tragically, his death probably did not come quickly. Before perishing, Mallory had apparently crossed his good leg over his broken leg to ease the pain as he realized the idea of being rescued was hopeless.

When they disconnected my uncle and said he's dead, I stayed watching him, he had his hand clinging to mine and even so it was still warm.
